Prior to RASC, she was a Deputy Chief Diversity Officer for the Department of Diversity and Civil
Rights at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. In this capacity, she was responsible for leading the
following units: DBE Certification Program, Operations, Reporting, and the Business and Diversity Initiatives Unit. Through her coordinated outreach efforts in the areas of recruitment and development of qualified minority firms, the MTA has maintained a high level of participation on the part of MWDBEs.
Her experience also includes human resources management and workforce diversity in the areas of
promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce of qualified employees throughout the MTA. Ms. Rodriguez
continues to maintain the role of Chair of the Competitive Edge Conference Committee, a committee of city and state agencies that share best practices through outreach efforts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in public administration and public affairs from Metropolitan College.
